KCCA's OCHAYA HEADING TO FRANCE




Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club and Uganda Cranes promising left back, Joseph Ochaya could soon land a mega deal with top Scottish or French club.Talks between Ochaya, his parent club KCCA, the prospective clubs and his agent Cezary Kucharski continue to pick steam each passing day.Kucharski, also agent for Polish and Bayern Munchen striker Robert Lewandowski had pitched camp in the Ugandan capital, Kampala for further talks, consultations and negotiations.KCCA chief executive officer, David Tamale when contacted could neither confirm nor deny the reports but wishes the player the best times ahead.
"As a club, we feel very excited when we see graduation of our products. At the moment, there is nothing conclusive but..." he noted.
Ekibaliya Sports has since established that Ochaya, who had a semi-professional stint at Ghanaian side, Asante Kotoko is being tracked by Nantes (France) and Aberdeen (Scotland).In case the French deal materializes, Ochaya could be the second Ugandan after Majidu Musisi (Rennes) to feature in the French Ligue 1 and if he moves to Scotland, he will also be second after David Obua who played for Hearts.
