Arsenal Transfer News: Wenger to spend £50million on former Real Madrid Striker.

Alvaro_Morata_to_Arsenal

Arsenal could have identified Juventus forward Alvaro Morata as their next marksman after Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud have failed to deliver whenever the two were called upon.
This season, the Spain international has found himself in and out of the Juventus side, spurring speculations that the former Real Madrid striker could be on his way out with Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid are all set to sign him.
According to Okdiario, via the Daily Express, Arsenal are prepared to pay upto £50million for Alvaro Morata.
The Gunners hit a goal drought period that saw them loose a streak of matches, and manager Arsene Wenger could have finally found the Striker that will emulate Thierry Henry’s performances at the Arsenal.
The 23-year-old is undoubtedly a joy to watch and having him at the Emirates would surely shake things up but the fans will have to wait till the summer to see Morata in an Arsenal shirt.

Farouk Miya's teammate and Manchester United goalkeeper shown exit at Standard Liege

Uganda Cranes' and Vipers FC loanee Farouk Miya will have his final game alongside Manchester United's goalkeeper Victor Valdes this weekend.
This follows the club's new policy to favour the youth players by offering them more time and opportunities to develop better.
The former Barcelona keeper and six-time La Liga winner had originally joined Liege on loan until the end of the season in January after falling out with United manager Louis van Gaal but the contract has been prematurely ended.
"As we decided to give more playing time to the youth players at the end of the season and because they couldn't be selected for medical reasons, the Spanish goalkeeper and the Greek midfielder have decided in agreement with the club to finish the loan at the end of this week," Liege said in a statement.
"Standard de Liege wants to thank Ioannis and Victor for everything they did for our club, especially during the successful campaign on the way to the Belgian Cup. We also wish them the best in the rest of their professional career."
Standard Leige travel to face Kortrijk today and it remains a daunting task for their tactician in terms of selection, after Miya officially opened his goal scoring account in their recent outing.
The former Vipers play maker on a six month loan stint at the Rouches got the equalizer for his team against Royal Excel Mouscron Peruwelz in the Belgium pro league play offs (group A).

Godfrey Walusimbi had a thunderbolt off his feet but Bandari shot-stopper Wilson Obungu impressed with a perfect catch.
As pressure was mounted in the final half, Felly Mulumba was at it when he found the back of his own net following his back pass that found Obungu on the wrong side.
Even though Bandari's Dan Sserunkuma was thrown in, the goal was just enough to seal the memorable win against the coastal outfit.
